May the spirit of Love,  the beauty of Hope  and the blessings of Peace  be your gifts this Christmas Season

We hope 2009 brings good fortune,  great faith and much happiness.

The Van Iseghem’s

Nancy and the boys, Kerry Ed Jr. & Curtis John

Nancy keeps the men in line at all times.

Without her, we'd be lost and hungry,

but not thirsty as you can see at right.

Kerry Sr., Curtis John & Kerry Ed Jr.

Here we are sailing a large catamaran

off St. Thomas USVI.

Enjoying a cool beverage and enjoying the warmth.

Just after snorkeling in crystal clear turquoise water

with colorful fish, turtles, rays and coral

Here we are -

accomplishing one of parenthood’s meaningful goals.

Embarrassing your kids.

This was taken in Saratoga while

showing the boys various colleges.

Winter Break was a chance to get away and

enjoy a Princess Cruise to the Caribbean.

The two brothers had a great time together.

Kerry Ed and Curtis John made a lot of friends on the cruise.

Their favorite pastime, hiding from their parents

on a 1000 foot long pleasure boat.

Judy visited and the 3 siblings had a lot of fun.

Here’s Chuck sizing them up.

Babba Curtis turned 75 this year.

We enjoy his visits and all the hard work he does for us.

Mom Curtis makes us wonderful pies for all our parties.

Colorful parents – A big part of our lives.

Kerry & Gayle had a great time

at the UR 25th College Reunion.

We made it thru the formals and

then went wild at the Frat Parties.

We may be old but we kicked butt at Beer Pong.

Wish Swarty had attended !

Curt & Caroline were a very cute couple for Halloween.

I hope this bee stung the Dancer and kept him in line.

Boy, are we glad he got his mom’s smile.

Kerry Ed turned 18 and can now vote,

smoke and go to war but not drink!

Reporting for Duty, Captain.

Mom Van became an avid sailor.

As proud owner of VanTastic she took the helm and

enjoyed Canandaigua Lake as never before.

The Good:  The annual Scott Delforte memorial

ski day was a great time.

Feb 7, 2009 is this year’s date.

The Bad:  Mr. Delforte passed away and

we will miss him so much.

He is now with Scott again.

Eric Gerena, our Fresh Air Son & Brother

came for a few weeks in August.

He is a barrel of laughs and

a truly wonderful joy in our lives.

We love him so much he is coming for Christmas again.

Friends are so special.

Nancy and I are happy we found our new ones

in Eileen & Bill Helmer from Syracuse.

We had to take a cruise in the Caribbean to find them.

Cost us a fortune but it was worth it.

These are the Homies.

These are wild party animals.  Beer is drunk!

High School Sisters.

Great Gals, Nuff said.

These are the sophisticates.

These ladies drink wine. Dry wine that is.

College Buddies.

Great Gals, Nuff said.

These are Bankers.

This explains the Financial mess we’re in.

Here they are brightening the spirits of

another banker who had a heart transplant.

These three are perfect angels - NOT!

They are a cross between “The Three Musketeers”

and “The Three Stooges.”

Kerry Ed, Griffin & Matt Tibs

Good friends who stick together.

These two fine Christians are shown here going to

"Reach WorkCamp" to help the poverty

stricken fix and repair their homes.

Funny they haven’t helped out much at home in 18 years.

Nancy & I enjoyed a peaceful week in their absence.

Speaking of friends, these three are great buddies.

Our beloved Buffalo Bills lost to the hapless 49ers.

Matt and his Dad, Tim, are 49er fans. Poor souls.

Curtis and Cory had to put up with these 49er fans.

Tommy Leone another great friend

sails Canandaigua Lake with the Van’s.

These two studs were on the lookout for

double breasted chickadees in bikinis.

Steve Chike does not pay for drinks.  I pay for his.

He fixes my boat.  He is meticulous….to a fault.

I thought I was a perfectionist.

At least that’s what I had Nancy believing.

He has blown my cover.

Steve the Sailor – Great Friend.

Caitlin graduated from College this summer.

We are so proud of her.

Maggie & Gary came to visit and

we celebrated the occasion with a fine dinner.

That’s me, the Irishman sitting on the boat

looking for his pot of Gold.

You’d think a boy with a name of Kerry could find it.

Maybe they should have named me Corky instead.

The summer sailing was great.

Thanks for the memories

and your friendship.

Have a wonderful 2009.
